A few years ago, I came across a powerful quote by the beloved and revolutionary Oceanian scholar, 'Epeli Hau'ofa, that has since guided every decision I have made: “We should not forget that human reality is human creation. If we fail to create our own, someone else will do it of us." I chose to study Computer Science because tech can provide access to and distribution of real-time solutions for those who simply want to improve their realities. I continue building my skillset to empower communities like mine to better navigate the modern world.
